Call Routing Engine - The proprietary call routing engine is capable of identifying the best route from millions of
prefixes in less than 100ms.
PBX Engine - VoipNow Professional uses a modified Asterisk 1.6 server to deliver PBX features. 4PSA patches to Asterisk are
focused on multi-server deployments, improving server stability, and adding new features.
SIP Multi-purpose server - VoipNow Professional uses a modified Kamailio (formerly OpenSER) server to deliver SIP router,
proxy, location, and presence features. 4PSA patches on Kamailio dramatically improve performance, increase stability, and add multi-server
support.
4Grid Caching Server - The distributed caching layer is interrogated before the database and the layer can decrease the
number of reads from the database with up to 90%. Multi-server friendly, the catching layer increases performance.
XMPP Server - VoipNow Professional uses the Ejabberd XMPP server which communicates with the PBX layer in order to exchange PBX
message information.
CallAPI Server - The VoipNow Call API server receives requests from customers, filters the requests and forwards
commands to the PBX engine which returns an answer.
Mail Server - VoipNow Professional uses Postfix in order to send emails to customers and also to receive fax processing
emails.
All VoipNow Professional components run at different privilege levels and communicate among themselves through the shared database
layer or through message passing.
Free Support Included
Software Update Subscription support is free with the software purchase. The
support package comes at no extra cost and offers Help Desk technical support and free software updates for 12 months. The support package can be
renewed optionally after the first 12 months.
